SONNET FOR HADES

Cherish his words my Lord Hades

a man’s mortal heart will foolishly sing

for he has journeyed the darkest places,

with all he burdens of a heart unhinged.

Sailing on the prayers of death’s wings

as a man who splayed the forests in song,

nurtering all the seasons sins

rendering his love from deaths wrongs

song for an unpityful immortal,

while loves suffering could not be prolonged

charming a God to free loves alter.

The Lord danced to the poets fine beats,

with one condition his love be released.
